Alright. I honestly can’t say if this trilogy is getting better, or just more violent. This book brought characters back from the first book but none of the interesting characters. Like there was a little baby in the first book, and now in this book he is 20 something. I also can’t help but be the person that is yelling at the characters in the book, “Don’t take that” but of course the main character had to go and ruin everything. The characters had no real development which made the book stay in one note. It was bland.
OVERALL: This trilogy really had potential, but I don’t think R.L. Stine carried it out properly. The delivery was just very confusing because it kept jumping timelines from a girl writting about the past, then the book taking us in the past.
Also Note: This book is for ages 15 and up, I think. It deals with very serious subject matter that might not be suitable for my younger people who read my reviews.
