My Summary:
So we start out in a storm. Nancy Drew and Helen Corning are on a boat in a storm, going to visit a hotel on an island, for a vacation. The boat broke and then sank. They would have been killed if it wasn't for Laura. Laura took the girls to the bungalow, on the same island as the hotel where they stayed for the night. Unknown to the girls, they were staying in a kidnapper's home. Before leaving, the girls left a note explaining who they were and that they had stayed over for the night. We find out that Laura’s mom recently died, and that is why Laura was on the island in the first place. She goes to meet her mother's friend, whom she has never met, and who will be her guardian going forward. They will turn out to be a problem.
There is a kidnapping, a fortune, an imposter!
My Review:
Ok. This was a quick and fun read, FOR ME, because I borrowed it from the library. The ending was interesting, and I didn’t expect it. This book was like a cat and mouse chase. Nancy finding something, and running from the kidnapper. I would not have been happy if I had to pay for the $10 amazon was asking for. IF YOU WANT TO READ IT, GO TO THE LIBRARY. DON’T PAY!
