Cursed

The final installment in the beloved Fairy Tale Reform School series where the teachers are (former) villains

Amazon Summary:

The evil Rumplestiltskin is planning to cast a curse that will erase Enchantasia as the world knows it, and a fairy prophecy declares that Gilly Cobbler will play a key role. Never one to shy away from adventure, Gilly and her friends embark on an epic, swashbuckling journey to stop Stiltskin from getting the ingredients he needs before it's too late.

Gilly can't help but wonder if it's already too late for her beloved sister, Anna, who's still a member of the villainous Stiltskin Squad, and will seemingly stop at nothing to thwart Gilly and her crew. Only by harnessing the skills she may have inherited from her fairy grandmother can Gilly stop Stiltskin and reunite her family. But with time running out and her fairy skills lying dormant, does Gilly have what it takes to prevent the evil curse and ensure a happily-ever-after for the Cobblers? Or will she lose Enchantasia and her friends forever?

My Review:

Before I even write my review on this book, I just want to say a few things. Pickles just represent what rating I give a book out of 10.

10/10

Jen Calonita can really finish a story. From her use of imagery, to her funny jokes in the book, makes it all worthwhile. I am not going to lie I wanted to know more about Alva (Sleeping beauty’s villain) and I learned more. It was a short read which I liked very much, because I could read more books in less time, and get more invested into the story. There was not as much character development in this last book, but I think it is because they have changed throughout the whole series, so it wasn’t too much to take in. The ending took me by surprise and I was speechless. (That is a good thing for me)

OVERALL: This was an amazing book series with loveable characters and a great story. I think I read this whole six book series in a month and a half, so (clap sound).

I quote myself: "This book is a great read for all ages and anyone who loves fairytales. With just enough comedy to make this book over the top great.
