10/10 What if Aladdin never found the lamp?

Book Summary: This is the first installment of the New York Times Bestelling Series Twisted Tales. When Jafar steals the Genie's lamp, he uses his first two wishes to become sultan and the most powerful sorcerer in the world. Agrabah lives in fear, waiting for his third and final wish.To stop the power-mad ruler, Aladdin and the deposed princess Jasmine must unite the people of Agrabah in rebellion. But soon their fight for freedom threatens to tear the kingdom apart in a costly civil war. What happens next? A Street Rat becomes a leader. A princess becomes a revolutionary. And readers will never look at the story of Aladdin in the same way again.

A Whole New World: I love Aladdin, it is my favorite Disney Movie, and this was the first Book I read in the series. I got to really care about the characters, although I loved the movie. This book was action packed, a real page turner. The vocabulary wasn't as hard as it was in the other books in the series.

Since Agrabah is fictional, and the only time I have only "seen" it is the Disney Aladdin movies, I didn't really get a feel for the place. With Liz' extremely beautiful storytelling and her vivid descriptions was like being sucked into the book.
