Wow! OK. Lots to process and lots going on. The beginning was just like the movie, but jeez did the ending leave me wanting more. I read this probably within a week. it was amazing, and I could hear Belle playing in the background while reading it. My hands and palms were sweaty I couldn't wait to turn the page.
Having never been to France, and only looking at pictures I thought it was pretty. After sitting down and reading this book with all the beautiful imagery, it was as if I have been to France many times. Liz uses some of the most descriptive imagery in a book I have ever read.
